VFW Post 4060 promotes and participates in the VFW National, Department, and district programs and events. In
addition, we expand on those programs in our local communities through interaction with the schools, city, and
county leaders, and the community. A sample of the programs we are involved in are:

In addition, we have expanded
some of those to tailor them to our community:
- Each year the post solicits names
of families that could use a boost and we provide the ingredients for a full
thanksgiving meal delivered to their homes.
- Each year our members play Santa
for several of the local school Christmas program and the post provides a sack
of treats for each of the students.
- We have members who assist the
local Robotics team as mentors and we as a post assist them with several fund-raising projects throughout
the year.
